Customer Testimonials
Janet Saunders, Community Action Program Committee, Inc.
I began working for Community Action Program Committee, Inc. in Pensacola, Florida over seventeen years ago and at that time the agency had been without a Fiscal Officer for over six months. What A Mess! After working with the agency’s audit firm for several months I heard about GMS at a conference I attended and called for more information. Within the next three months we had the software installed and two or three onsite trainings. Needless to say everything has been smooth sailing since then; our audit reports have been excellent and our audit firm has even recommended GMS to several of their other clients. Personally, I feel that one of the strongest points about GMS is their support staff! I have never had a problem or an issue that has not been taken care of right away. I choose to have GMS do onsite support for year-end close; it makes everything run so smoothly. Any report or information that our audit firm has ever requested is always readily available through the software. We also use the Fixed Asset portion of GMS which lends itself beautifully to reporting and tracking requirements as well as GAAP requirements for depreciation. And the annual conferences are a fantastic experience for all staff members. Our original GMS software was of course the DOS version and being the hard headed person that I am I was very reluctant to turn loose of that. However, we converted to the Windows version and it is truly amazing. You can do so much more in Windows than you could in DOS and I am sorry that I dragged my feet for so long.

This letter is to inform you of how valuable Kaye Palmer of GMS is to your agency. I just finished the year end on-site visit with her at our agency. She has been requested at the Omega agency for the last four years. Her expertise, charming personality and patience have enabled me to better understand the reporting and processing for year-end obligations and reports. Because of her financial knowledge, I have greatly improved in understanding my report. She is a very quality lady and deserves a huge thank you from me and especially our director. Your organization has great respect and caring for those who operate under your system.
Kevin Gates, Opportunities for Chenango, Inc.
I sincerely appreciate all the time you spent with us yesterday. I realize this is an extremely hectic time of year for you, and I was impressed by the way you went the extra mile for us, not giving up until you had answered all of our questions. I also like how you gently made sure that we'll be equipped to carry on before hanging up the phone. Thanks for everything!
Children's Aid Society
Please accept this e-mail as conveyance of my sincere appreciation of your organization’s staff. The GMS support personnel have consistently provided Children’s Aid Society (CAS) with exception customer support. Although I am an experienced accountant, this was my first tax season processing on GMS. After reading the W2 and 1099 preparation procedures in the GMS “Help” files, I must admit I was a little apprehensive about the ease of accomplishing this year’s tax reporting process. Although I think this process could be greatly enhanced for a better user experience, your staff was responsive and able to assist with all of my questions.

Selecting the right accounting and financial reporting system is an enormous responsibility. How do you compare systems when no two are alike? When approaches differ? When no two organizations are the same?
GMS software was written and designed specifically for non-profit organizations required to account for grants, contracts and activities.
GMS software is designed to handle activity accounting. It is not a remake of a commercial accounting package or an adaptation of a job costing system. It was created and written specifically to account for grants, contracts, and activities.
GMS staff will thoroughly train your staff on-site and assist with system conversion to make certain that implementation is completed the way you expected.
No software package will work if your staff doesn’t know how to use it, lacks confidence, or can’t find the time to implement it. Our approach makes certain that your system is implemented properly, that your staff supports and understands the new system, and knows how to use it.
We are not resellers.
GMS developed the software.
Because we developed the GMS Accounting and Financial Management/Reporting System, our staff is best at shaping it to fit your organization’s special requirements.
Our continuing service program supports your staff in every way assuring that GMS is a permanent and final investment.
Continuing support and service is much more than just a toll free telephone number or e-mail address.
Continuing success requires continuing service. We believe that as you review the information we have provided you it will be abundantly clear how high a priority we place on quality support and service. Just ask our clients.
