Hello Everyone
The GMS Team is working diligently in preparation for the upcoming Accounting and RLSS Summits to make them as informative and enjoyable as possible. One of the things we are again most excited about is seeing our clients, especially since we were unable to come together last year due to the pandemic restrictions. Even though we may be in contact with you throughout the year for various reasons, there is nothing like seeing you in person. There are clients that have been to many summits over the years and it’s great to see them again. Also, it’s especially exciting to meet a client in person for the first time. This may be a result of being a new GMS client in the past 17 months, or they simply haven’t had the opportunity to attend a summit in the past.
The GMS staff is eager to teach you tips and techniques in how to better utilize our accounting and revolving loan servicing software in St. Pete Beach. ​
Our Keynote Speaker for the Monday morning Opening Session is author, communication coach, Syracuse University Hall-of-Fame Scholar-Athlete, and veteran women’s basketball analyst for various major networks Vera Jones.  She is a Certified Trainer in workplace conflict. During her signature story of Now I See she will reveal critical lessons for resilience, change and finding significance in the midst of adversity and will ignite the belief that for every piece of pain there is a powerful purpose!   Ms. Jones will also present the late Monday morning session of Now I See: Moving from Blindness to Breakthrough where she will continue with the next-level practical application of what was learned in the Opening Session. You will learn how adversity, when addressed with a winner’s mentality, can often prove to be the best catalyst for growth and change
​Join us Sunday from 5:30 – 6:30 pm on the South Terrace for our Welcome Reception where you can pick up your registration packet, enjoy hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and music, plus renew old friendships and meet new friends.
- Idris Johnson, Sales and Marketing Lead at GHG Corporation, will be presenting Growing Pains? Clockwise’s Integrated Solution.  GHG’s Clockwise timekeeping solution will be showcased along with new advances in integrating GMS and Clockwise for your HR needs.
- Returning this year is the attorney Drake Maynard. He will present two sessions:  Current Trends in HR Law and Practice and Protecting Your Organization, Your Board, and Yourself from Harassment Liability.Â
- We are excited to have with us David Um, Offensive Security Certified Professional, who will present Cyber Threats are REAL!  In this session you will learn about the various types of security threats and an overview of security best practices.
- You will be able to meet face-to-face with every member of our staff – Software and Technical Support Specialists, Training, Programming and Administrative. All GMS resources are in one place and at your disposal during the Accounting Summit.
- The GMS Software Support Center offers an opportunity to try out the accounting software including all of the supplements – to learn how they work using test data.Â
- Equally as important, the Summits will give you an opportunity to share your practices and procedures with the other organizations attending! GMS’ clients offer a wealth of experience and information and this type of networking can be invaluable as you speak to other GMS’ clients that face the same types of daily issues as you.Â

Attention Payroll Department!
​It is time to order forms or services from GMS for your W2, 1099, 1098  and 1095 year end processing. All Orders (including orders where GMS is printing the forms for you) are due by 11/30/2021.
​2-Up W2 forms are prepackaged in sets of 50 forms (25 sheets of 2 employees per sheet) and Laser 4-Up W2 forms are prepackaged in sets of 50 forms (50 sheets of 1 employee per sheet). The prepackage sets include W3 transmittals and envelopes.
1099 MISC forms are prepackaged in sets of 50 forms (25 sheets of 2 vendors per sheet).Â
1099 NEC are prepackaged in sets of 50 forms (17 sheets with 3 vendors per page).Â
Laser 1098 forms are prepackaged in sets of 50 forms (25 sheets of 2 clients per sheet).
All prepackaged sets of 1099s and 1098 forms include envelopes and 1098s Transmittal forms.
The 4-up W2 is a horizontal version for clients only who are filing with the SSA electronically. Each 8 1/2″ X 11″ sheet contains four copies for one employee printed 8 lines per inch. The employee’s copies and employer’s copies are each run through one time. These forms are compatible for those agencies who submit the Federal IRS Copy A to the Social Security Administration electronically since there is no Copy A on the employers page.
1095C forms are prepackaged in sets of 50 customized forms with envelopes for mailing to employees. The package also includes a form 1094C transmittal, and an additional 50 forms in landscape format for submission to the IRS.
Attention RLSS Summit Attendees
All RLSS Summit Attendees should plan to bring a laptop with them as time will be allotted to practice what has been learned. You will be emailed instructions approximately two weeks before the Summit with instructions regarding how to download and install the RLSS software and demo database on your laptop. You will also need to bring an external power source or plan to charge your laptop during lunch break as power outlets will not be available during the training sessions. Software must be installed and in working order prior to arrival.
Bring Your Laptop to Summit!
Anyone who wishes to bring a laptop to the Accounting Summit to have the ability to follow along in each session they attend is encouraged to do so. Because of seating or lighting, some attendees find it hard to see the screen in the front of the room. This will enable you to follow along on your own laptop to easily see the features that are being pointed out.
RLSS Summit Attendees MUST bring a laptop as time will be allotted for reinforcing what you’ve learned so you are confident in your new or updated training when you return to your office.

​ We will be putting our summit databases and all handouts on our website for you to download to your laptop. The databases will be compatible with the latest revisions, so make sure the programs that are installed on your laptop are also the latest version prior to summit.
All summit registrants will be emailed instructions on Friday, October 15, regarding how to obtain the latest GMS Accounting Software and/or RLSS Software and appropriate demo databases. If you do not receive the email with these instructions, please send an email, including your client #, name, and correct email address to service@gmsactg.com so that we may resend them to you.
How will GMS Operate During the Accounting and RLSS Summits?
Here are some things that you need to know about how GMS will operate during the Annual Accounting and RLSS Summits October 24-29, 2021​.
During the Accounting Summit, all Software Technical Support Specialists will be in St. Pete Beach, FL so they can participate in sessions and meet with clients. They will be checking voice mail regularly and respond to service calls during the times stated below.
The GMS Chat Room will not be monitored from Monday, October 25th through Thursday, October 28th. It will reopen at 8:00am on Friday, October 29th.
Service calls will be taken on Monday, October 25, 2021, through Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 8:30am to 5:00pm EDT. Please follow the normal practice of emailing service requests to service@gmsactg.com, leaving a service call request through the customer portal on our website or calling our service number (800) 933-3501 and leaving a voice mail message. We will be back to normal business hours on Friday, October 29.
Please note: With all Software Technical Support Specialists participating in sessions or assisting clients in the Software Support Center, we may not meet the 2 hour return call deadline.

50% Supplement Credit!
Agencies who attend the GMS Summits in St. Pete Beach are entitled to a 50% credit on the purchase of any supplement(s) up to your agency’s total registration price for either the Accounting Summit or RLSS Summit, whichever is greater. This is available on all supplements ordered between the time of registering and November 30, 2021. This is a great way to save money on your supplement purchases. You can place your orders directly online and the credit will automatically be applied.
